Dream Con is a entertainment convention, currently in Houston, Texas, that started as a dream but was brought to fruition by social media influencers, RDCWorld.
For the 2022 and 2023 conventions, I was a part of the Marketing Department. My main responsibilities were monitoring the convention's Instagram account. Using a content scheduler, I worked with the Graphics team to plan and deliver content to all of their social media platforms throughout the year. During the event, I created and posted story posts on Dream Con's Instagram and Facebook platforms.
Starting with the 2024 convention, I became the Programming Manager. In this role, I manage the overall programming schedule for the convention, ensuring a seamless flow of events from opening to closing. Ensures that the convention’s content s dynamic, diverse, and aligns with their target audience’s interests and values.
